ECOMONTANA was born 12 years ago (1995) in Lima under the direction of Omar Zarzar. Later it moved to Cusco where it discovered a wealth of routes and history in addition to constant tourism and operated as an adventure agency for Mountain Biking and Trekking.
Working with local guides and creating more than 20 alternative circuits, as a pioneer in this field it managed to receive the interest for adventure and existential tourism from mostly American and European tourists.

It offers three services: Mountain Biking from half day to 21 days, Treks or walks from ½ day to 12 days and so-called Traditional Tourism that includes City Tour, Machu Picchu, Inca Trail, Sacred Valley of the Incas, Mystical Tours with therapeutic doses of San Pedro and Ayahuasca with local shamans.
The places can vary so much like Kuelap, Paracas, Cusco, Port Maldonado, Manu, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca or like Bolivia (The Yungas, Sorata and Salar de Uyuni) or like Patagonia (Las Torres del Paine and the lakes of southern Chile); as well as special trips of extended duration for bicycle tourists.
On the walks, you are escorted along less well-known footpaths through immensely beautiful areas of the city of Cusco and its surroundings. For example we have a half day walk in the ruins of Tipón or Sacsayhuamán and surroundings. An example of a trek is one from the ruins of Choquequirao to the ruins of Macchu Picchu taking 10 days.
