Tour of 7 Descents

6 Days/5 nights

Day 1: Transport from the airport to Tambomachay; to 3 kilometers from the Abra (Pass) de Corao; then descend to Taray. On the route we will have track, single-track and narrow paths.
We arrive at Pisac (Hotel) and afterwards climb the trail to the ruins for a Box lunch. About half of the subsequent descent is rather technical single-track after which we return to the hotel and later have dinner at Ulriques Cafe.

Day 2: at Ollantaytambo, we first begin with the downhill from the ruins of Pumamarka; then we travel to the Abra de Malaga to descend the Megavalanche route. The whole day is based around Ollantaytambo where we will have dinner and rest in a simple hotel.

Day 3: we travel to the Abra de Calca and do the downhill towards Calca that also has thermal waters. We have lunch in a restaurant and return to Ollantaytambo to spend the night in a cheap hotel.

Day 4: Chincheros - Urquillos, good long single track. If there is time we can do hill 711 which has more challenging single track.
We have lunch in a tourist restaurant and will spend the night and have dinner in a country house in Marcabamba.

Day 5: will do the classic route of Moray, Maras & Salineras; approx. time 4 hours - xc & dh. We have lunch in a tourist restaurant. We return in a private bus directly to the cheap hotel - dinner not included, free night, possibility of night tour.

Day 6: We travel to the airport.

Notes:
This fantastic tour of descents has 3 categories. The one described here is category B.
Category A is more austere and it does not include the meals, and all the cheap hotels are of category 1 and 2 stars.
Category C has much more and in this tour you will enjoy the exquisiteness of the Nouveau Andean meals, as well as international styles in the best restaurants of the valley. Also we will spend the night in the best hotels.
